Babys First Christmas

Well belive it or not it has been a month and I havent broke her yet. She has allready grown from 8 lbs all the way up to 11.5 lbs and she has so much personality, she responds to her mom and dad and is starting to know her own name. Kinley has been such a blessing to Kayleen and I, what a wondefull gift.

More Pictures!! Makinley's first night is finally over. Dad was happy that his little girl slept all night long, but Mom had another story. Makinley came to us last night at 9:47, weighing in at 8lbs, 2 oz, and 20 inches long. FYI: you can click on the pictures below to stop, move forward, or move backward. Enjoy!

Makinley Rose Streator joined Jared and Kayleen on November 27, 2007. Mom and baby (Jared too) are doing very well. While mom and dad are tending to their new baby, I (Uncle B!) decided to take over their blog to show off their little Kinley. These are just a few of the pictures we snapped when Jared snuck us in to meet her, along with some of her new nursery. We'll post more soon.

You asked for it, here are pictures of my very big belly. I'm 34 weeks here and feel huge. I'm measuring well here, the Dr. said that baby weighs about 5 lbs. I never thought I would miss zipping my pants but that's one thing I'm looking forward too. Other then that I feel great.

This is what her room looks like at this point. I think Jared did an amazing job for his little girl.
We're getting closer and closer to our little one coming. I can't wait! I went to the Dr. on Friday, he said everything looks good and that she could come a little early. Sarah said that she thinks she come on the around the 14th of the month because she and Jay are both out of town then. I hope not I don't want them to miss it. I think the 20th is when she'll come but I also thought that she was a boy. My grandma thinks the 18th. Let us know when you think she'll get here.

Tag

The Rules: Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. At the end of the post the player tags six people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Have fun!

Heather tagged me so I give it a go, thanks Heather.

1. Well with the recent holiday I’ll go with a fear. I have many just ask Jared but one that I’m not sure he even knows about it the I’m scared of ET, ya that nice little alien that likes M&M’s. Ever since I was little I thought that he lived under my bed and it freaked me out. At this point I know that he doesn’t live under my bed (there wouldn’t be enough room) but I still don’t like him.

2. I’m also totally afraid of moths I know they don’t do anything, I don’t think they can even bit. This goes back to the one and only time that I want to Girl’s Camp with a friend. The cabin would fill with like 100 moths at night and two of this girls told us that it we messed up their “art work” on the floor they would put moths up our nose. I also remember that Kyle had one in his ear when I was younger and have never gotten over it.

3. I would guess that most of you know this, I don’t like chocolate. If I eat it there has to be something else with it, peanut M&M, Snickers, peanut butter cup, usually the fun size is enough. If I do eat plain chocolate it’s like two bits. I never eat chocolate cake or ice cream I’d rather go without.

4. I love Disney sound tracks, I have always liked them, but now that I work with kids they have grown on me even more. My very favorite is “Let’s get down to business” from Mulan.

5. I love to wrap gifts, I’m not real good at it, but I find it relaxing. As of today Nov 1, all of the Christmas gifts I have are wrapped, and have been for two weeks. If you saw my stash of wrapping supplies you’d know that I must enjoy it.

6. So most women love to shop, as do I but I love to bargain hunt even more. There is just something about getting a great deal that makes me so happy. This includes warehouse sale, yard sales and clearance bins. I’m not afraid to dive in and dig for whatever I’m after. This means that I put a little more work into the purchases I make by finding the sale, and what ever it takes from there.

Now I get to tag: Brandon, Sarah, Angie, Catherine

So we started working on the baby's room. I picked Pink paint as you can see Jared Loves it. What a sweetheart he used it any way, commenting with every stroke.

We did have a little fun with pink paint.

So here it is our Pink and White room. The bottom will be white bead board. And we're getting new carpet. Her bedding is pink and green. I can't wait to get the whole room set up. So that's mostly all we been doing with our free time.

As requested, here is the latest picture of my tummy. I’m twenty four week or six months along here. Things are going really well, I feel great. I feel her kicking a ton, she is her fathers child, active as can be. Her favorite things to do are turn circles and use mommy’s bladder as trampoline.
Jay and Sarah took canoe to Joe's Valley. Jay, Michelle and Jared tried to take it out, boy was it fun watching those three try and balance that thing. Lucky for them they stayed dry.

So its four am, I am at work tyring to get a few minutes of sleep while the machines run and all I can think of is my grandma Wese, so I though I would type of few of the things I am thinking. After reading the many, many emails going around reflecting on grandma, I cant help getting sad, but then I got thinking.
I was reading all these wonderful things that everyone wrote about her, and all these wonderful quality's that we remember Grandma for are all still around. I know what your thinking who's typing this, but its me Jared. I first read the email that started it all from my wonderful mom, and as I was reading it I realized she was listing not only the great things I remember about Grandma, but it was my mom. It hit me like a ton a brick and you know I am so excited to have a baby, even more so than before because I know my daughter is going to have as many great memories about her Grandmother as I did with mine..
Another think that made me think of my Mom was something kind of small but it was the Nintendo she loved, If I had a dollar for every time my dad hid my moms game boy (and the only game she owns Dr. Mario) I would be a rich rich man, she loves that dumb thing.
You know my very best memories of grandma was the way she looked at you and the way she hugged you, at that moment you felt like the most loved and important person in the entire world. You know who else has that look and that hug, there are three people that come to mind right off the bat, my Mom, My uncle Roy, and of course my Aunt Becky.
All I can say is I am glad that she was your Mom.
I don't talk or even think like this very often but I guess even tough guys like me can have there moments.
I will most likely read this again tomorrow after I sleep and before I have been up for over 20 hours and take it off but for the time being, hey what the heck. I love and miss you grandma, Jared

Hi all!! This is Brandon doing a bit of guest blogging. Jared asked if I would put these videos on, so here you have it. This is what happens when Jared and I get together; generally we end up having a lot of fun and laughs, coupled with a high chance of one of us gettting hurt or caught doing something we shouldn't. Boys will be boys, right? Surprisingly, I didn't actually end up cracking my head open on that nice clean slippery floor despite the fact that my little ride was pretty much a death wish. All in all, that was a good day's work for the two of us.

Well here it is the news the Streator family has been waiting for what seems like forever.
Kayleen and I went to the Doctor today and found out the new addition to are family will be

no problems of any kind.
So the results are in and I guess Roy you will get your way, the softer side of me will need
