So its four am, I am at work tyring to get a few minutes of sleep while the machines run and all I can think of is my grandma Wese, so I though I would type of few of the things I am thinking. After reading the many, many emails going around reflecting on grandma, I cant help getting sad, but then I got thinking.
I was reading all these wonderful things that everyone wrote about her, and all these wonderful quality's that we remember Grandma for are all still around. I know what your thinking who's typing this, but its me Jared. I first read the email that started it all from my wonderful mom, and as I was reading it I realized she was listing not only the great things I remember about Grandma, but it was my mom. It hit me like a ton a brick and you know I am so excited to have a baby, even more so than before because I know my daughter is going to have as many great memories about her Grandmother as I did with mine..
Another think that made me think of my Mom was something kind of small but it was the Nintendo she loved, If I had a dollar for every time my dad hid my moms game boy (and the only game she owns Dr. Mario) I would be a rich rich man, she loves that dumb thing.
You know my very best memories of grandma was the way she looked at you and the way she hugged you, at that moment you felt like the most loved and important person in the entire world. You know who else has that look and that hug, there are three people that come to mind right off the bat, my Mom, My uncle Roy, and of course my Aunt Becky.
All I can say is I am glad that she was your Mom.
I don't talk or even think like this very often but I guess even tough guys like me can have there moments.
I will most likely read this again tomorrow after I sleep and before I have been up for over 20 hours and take it off but for the time being, hey what the heck. I love and miss you grandma, Jared

Hi all!! This is Brandon doing a bit of guest blogging. Jared asked if I would put these videos on, so here you have it. This is what happens when Jared and I get together; generally we end up having a lot of fun and laughs, coupled with a high chance of one of us gettting hurt or caught doing something we shouldn't. Boys will be boys, right? Surprisingly, I didn't actually end up cracking my head open on that nice clean slippery floor despite the fact that my little ride was pretty much a death wish. All in all, that was a good day's work for the two of us.

Well here it is the news the Streator family has been waiting for what seems like forever.
Kayleen and I went to the Doctor today and found out the new addition to are family will be
a GIRL.... We couldnt be happier and the even better news is everything is going great
no problems of any kind.
So the results are in and I guess Roy you will get your way, the softer side of me will need
to be refined a little (hope I can). Well I better get back to watching Kayleen,I bet she has allready
broke the bank buying cloths she has had a hard time waiting to find out.
Love ya all tonz, Jared

So I got to go out and do a little golfing this week, and I got to say its good to finally have summer here. I got to thinking while I was out on the course, we all need to get together and play (everyone is invited). I know allot of you are a long ways away and its not realistic but the ones that are interested let me know and I will set it up. Maybe if we are lucky we can talk the parents into letting us use there backyard for a barbecue afterwards. We did this a few years back with Becky and Ken and it was a blast so I say lets do it again. Stop talking about it and do it, my days of a free man are almost over so I need to get in a lot of playing this summer. Love ya all tonz, Jared

At 4 1/2 inches long (head to bottom) and 3 1/2 ounces, the baby is the size of an avocado. In the next three weeks, she/he will go through a tremendous growth spurt, doubling her weight and adding inches to her length. The patterning of her scalp has begun, though her hair isn't recognizable yet. Although closed, her eyes are moving (slowly).
So I have been keeping track of the baby's progress but it is starting to get a little gross, and the pictures are a little to vivid. Love ya all tonz, Jared & Kayleen

So we got up this morning and got ready for the day, after Kayleen got out of the shower she tried on
a bunch of different shirts. I know most of you think, shes a women its in her nature. The reason she
tried on so many cloths was because she said "everything I own makes me look fat, I want to look
pregnant". So being the problem solving guy I am I came up with a solution so everyone would know
she is pregnant not "fat". I wonder if she will wear it all day, I guess we will find out.

Here are a few pictures from the place known as Streator Paradise (Sunten).

My dad and I in A heated race of course as you can see dad won...

Trying to ride a kayak behind the boat is not as easy as it looks..

Here I am making a fool of myself acting like I can still ski

This is my dad giving me a few tips (after falling)

And of course the beautiful mother to be (and my moms butt sorry mom LOL)

Well we have been asking everyone else what the baby will be, but we have not thrown our opinions in. Kayleen (the glowing mother to be) thinks it will be a studlly boy just like his dad. Jared (thats me) also thinks it will be a boy, mostly because I am scared of girls. I know I know, but there is just something about a girl that makes me nervious. I dont want anyone to think I dont want a girl or that I wouldnt be the happiest dad in the world if I had a girl but my gut just thinks it will be a boy..

At around 4 inches long, crown to rump, your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 ounces. He's busy inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, which will help the air sacs in his lungs develop. Sweat glands are appearing, and although his eyelids are fused shut, he can sense light. If you were to shine a flashlight at your tummy, he'd most likely move away from the beam. If you're scheduled for an ultrasound in the coming weeks (most women have one between 16 and 20 weeks), you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl !

We had a doctor appointment today. We got to here the heart beat, that’s the coolest sound I’ve ever heard. He said that it sounds really strong and healthy. The baby is very active we could here it moving around and kept losing it on the Doppler. We get to go back on the 2nd of July and find out if it’s a Boy or Girl. We want to get everyone’s guess, then I can get a tally them up to add then to the baby’s scrapbook.
Jared wants me to keep this blog up dated so here I go. I'm not so computer savoy so hold on to your key board.
